Re: mmm Eat some poo
All fish eat poo.
Remember, the things you are eating out of Lake Michigan are all eating goby.
Mmmmm, yum.

That's why the musky cheeks taste so good. Those cheeks are where all the best meat is from those muskies swimming around smiling because their water is so clean.

Re: mmm Eat some poo
i prefer musky tail soup.
catch a 40-incher, cut off the last foot, boil the tail section skin scales and all...
After i cut off the tail, sometimes they swim away a
good 20feet before they float back on the surface.

I'll have to give that recipe a try.
Why let them go? Just like smallies, they are a trash fish and should be left to rot on shore.

That's a myth. When I was doing the kid fishing program with Bob Long we fished the harbors all the time. All goby caught got smacked on the concrete and tossed back in the lake. Like I said, everything eats goby.Special Ed wrote:Trout yes, salmon no.

Out in Virginia, we had one idiot member put a few muskie in the spring fed lake. Rule was, you catch them you don't put them back. We caught one.Special Ed wrote:That's why the musky cheeks taste so good. Those cheeks are where all the best meat is from those muskies swimming around smiling because their water is so clean.
Best tasting fresh water fish I've ever had. And the cheeks were the best part.
