For the past 3 years I've been making a mental commitment to use my fly rods more often and never do.
During my brief employ at Orvis recently I came across these:
Orvis EZ Mite
I've only seen them in pictures, but they look pretty damn good and it looks like I should be able to cast them with the light spinning gear I like to use.
We'll see. My daughter claims she's going to buy me some for my birthday.
I might know of a few creeks they would work on.

Re: Orvis EZ mite
For my birthday, my daughter bought me 7 of these flies.
If you will be fishing any clear water creeks and rivers around here, I highly recommend you get a few. Not sure how they'll work on the Fox because of the clarity issues, but I guess I'll find out.
These things are extremely cool looking. They're heavy enough that I'll also be able to cast them on my usual spinning gear, which is a fast action medium light St. Croix. Lighter gear would work even better.
If it weren't cold and snowing out right now, I'd be at the crap plant testing them out.
