Floated the KKK on Thursday w Capt Austin Adduci

Hey guys-

Had the chance to hook up and float the Kank with my great friend and guide Austin Adduci. fished with many guides in my life...but this is one of my all time favorites. Met him thru my wife a few years back and has become a great friend. If you have someone in need of learning the river or need a days float...this is your guy!

floated from Area 2 to Area 9 on Thursday morning. Decent water clarity...was hoping they were hanging on the bank but they were scattered. Caught all my fish on a Murdich Minnow streamer...maybe 6 fish...one nice about 16. Had such an amazing fall wading the KKK when the water was so low and clear it was like a spring creek. Love this river..sorry it;s almost 2 hrs driving for me.

Have a drift boat and glad to take others who can row...

I finally got out with Matt Mullady last year. It's one of those things where we've known about each other for over a decade and never had the chance to cross paths. Was well worth it.

I've run into Austin numerous times at shows. Seems like a good guy.

Not sure I can ever get used to fishing a river from a boat. I'd be wanting to beach it and go walking all the time.
