Years ago I was actively involved with a wide variety of conservation and environmental groups. Whether it was about dam removals, cleanups, prairie burns, watershed meetings, you name it I had info. I used to try hard to get fishermen interested in participating in all these things, I assumed they had as much interest in it as I did, but I assumed wrong. Eventually I gave up participating, gave up passing out the info, but the one thing that hasn't changed is that I'm still in touch with many of these groups.
Every week I get 20 or more email from them announcing a project or event or requests for volunteers or just some kind of information that is remotely interesting. Instead of just reading them, deleting them and ignoring them, I'm going to try to get that info up on the Waterdog Journal in the Conservation Issues forum.
Some one out there might find it all as interesting as I once did.
