Montgomery Crap Plant
Montgomery Crap Plant
How often do trains go over that bridge that crosses the river? Is it one single track or two? Rivers flowing just over 3000 right now, too fast to wade across. Was thinking about fishing there this weekend. What do you think Ken, any tips.
You can never fish the same river twice, by the time you get back it's not the same river.

Re: Montgomery Crap Plant
I wouldn't do it.
I used to know the schedule, I live in Yorkville just down the street from the same tracks.
Seems like there's more lately.
I'm not home enough during the day anymore to get a good feel for the schedule.
It's almost impossible to hear them coming because there's a blind curve on either side of the river.
Then you'll hear the horns blowing from the trains going along Route 31, they're loud. You'll think it's coming at you, you'll be half way across and probably shit in your pants.
Route 31, under the Route 30 bridge, walk the tracks to the river.
It's a good half mile hike to make it all the way to the outflow.
Wading across is definitely not a good idea either.
