Fishing Picking Up
Fishing Picking Up
Had my best day of the year yesterday 6\29 in St. Charles. Fished for about 1.5 hrs from 4-5:30. Picked up two nice ones on a Bluegill 4D Rapala crank and one average 12 incher. Need to branch out to different spots but this one is one of my favorites for a couple different reasons. Probably the biggest is the fact I used to fish here with my family when I was a kiddie for carp. Fun memories and now to be pulling in bass from the same area is pretty cool to me.

Re: Fishing Picking Up
Very cool Tim.
If the river keeps up its steady decline, it's starting to look like you'll be able to wade some new areas by sometime Sunday.
Maybe sooner.
My garden can use the rain, but I'm getting buggy to hit some stretches of the Fox.
No rain, no rain, no rain . . .
Sorry, Woodstock flashback.
