I reeled in the fish and took my time to grab him. I went into my front pants pocket (under my waders mind you) to grab my camera. I took the camera out of a zip lock bag, turned it on showed Ed how to use it - all this time with the fish in my hand.
We are ready to take the photo and Ed is saying, no move your hand, hold like this so you can get the fish in the pic. I am not exactly sure how he needed me to hold to hold it. "That'll work" he says, and the fish and I are in the lens, I see the little light go on with that minor delay my cam gets before the shot and all of a sudden I get my pic with my first walleye.

1/16 th jig with a Berkeley gulp alive 4 inch minnow.
To say the least we laughed pretty hard at the picture, maybe Ed laughed a little harder than I since captured such a ridiculous look on my face.
It was the only fish caught on the Fox that night from us. Still nice to get out and the lack of wind made it comfortable.
